The video was recorded on December 31, 2024, during Bruno Luz and Michael Pereira’s visit to Aldeia Chico Curumim, in the Huni Kuin territory of the Upper Jordão River, Acre, Brazil.
According to the information the directors received during the visit, Maru Huni Kuin is a son of chief Tamani and a grandson of Ibã Huni Kuin, also known as Isaías Sales.
