Music also helps guide the ceremony.

Songs are chosen according to the theme and the place each one holds in the gathering. They accompany the opening, movement, introspection, silence, steadiness and closing, telling a story through the ceremony.

This path is more than a playlist. Individual songs may be shared later, but the ceremony also includes guidance, pauses, instruments, words, the setting and choices that belong to that moment.

Music can help the group stay attentive and may accompany breathing, movement and inward focus. We care for its volume, duration and intention according to the purpose of the gathering.

Music does not tell anyone what they should feel and does not replace the presence of guardians. Like words and silence, it belongs to the ritual without imposing an explanation on someone’s experience.

On special occasions, the Sanctuary welcomes invited prayer leaders and holds ceremonies with live music. Their participation is arranged with the leadership team and must fit the theme and responsibilities of the gathering.

Even with guests, the same screening, interview, attendance limits and other Sanctuary procedures remain in place.

Some prayers belong to the moment and guidance of the ceremony. Sharing a selection inspired by a gathering does not reproduce the whole experience or turn the ritual into a musical product.
