It began with a family and grew with the community.

The Sanctuary grew from one family’s shared path and the experience its current directors had with forest medicines. When the group they attended moved away from the city, they felt the need for a local place of study, prayer and responsible care.

What began among family and friends slowly became a community. Along the way, the house developed clearer procedures, guidelines and shared responsibilities. Today, caring for this work is part of our life purpose.

Santuário Céu de Aparecida is a place of universalist shamanism, spirituality, study and shared care. Our purpose is religious, not commercial, recreational or therapeutic.

Bruno Luz, Michael Pereira, Giovana Luz Negro and Luciana Luz share the leadership. This reflects our principle of non-specialism: no one is treated as the sole owner of spiritual knowledge.

Nature and the open areas around the temple are part of the religious setting. Because the Sanctuary is not open for unannounced visits, please contact us through an official channel before coming.

Community life includes open thematic ceremonies, reserved activities, study groups, conversation circles and volunteer service by directors and guardians.

In every activity, we seek to practice non-intervention, free will, care with words, spiritual humility, respect for Indigenous traditions and personal responsibility.
