FIUP 2025: gathering of peoples
Daiara Tukano and Makairy Fulni-ô in a musical record from the Indigenous Festival União dos Povos, attended by the Sanctuary's directors in 2025.
Context and meaning.
The video was recorded on May 3, 2025, during the third Indigenous Festival União dos Povos in Arujá, São Paulo. The Sanctuary’s directors attended all three days as members of the public.
According to the information gathered by the directors who were present, FIUP welcomed representatives of at least 17 ethnic groups. We attended to listen and learn; the Sanctuary did not organize the festival and does not represent its participants.
